Morning Everyone, from a peaceful and beautiful Ibiza!!!
I am here for a week or so to check on the apartment and try to gain some form of summer employment this year, and its a great excuse to chill out and recharge my batteries after a hectic Christmas and New Year and what is turning into a chaotic January too!

Whilst I am here in Ibiza, I hope to have time to relax and organise myself ready for the New Year. One of my resolutions is always to try and reduce the amount of swear words that come out of my mouth. I think I use profanities far too much, perhaps I need it ’spanked’ out of me?! What do you think? Seriously though, I think it shows a shortage of vocabulary skills and being the intelligent young woman I am, do not want to come across as lacking in the DICKtion….oops I mean Diction department! I am sure you all know my lusting for a certain Mr Russell Brand (yes I know he is now engaged boo hoo), and one of the things, amongst mant others I should add, that I think that turns me on to him is his fabulous command of the English language. Yes Really! I recently saw an article about a ‘Poem Brothel’ in Barcelona where they use poetry to seduce and entertain their customers. ‘Putas’ (Spanish for prostitutes) give private readings to poetry lovers for tips, poetry is shared, money made and a good time had by all. I thought it was a great twist on the ‘normal’ sense of the word brothel and it got me thinking. I am often called many things for doing what I do, one of them being a ‘whore’ (not often but it has happened) but I dont usually take offence. The majority of people who take that view are saying it with the intent of making me feel bad and probably do not even realise that what they are saying is to all intents and purposes a truth.
A prostitute is someone who sells their body, I suppose I do that; people spend money on membership to my website, or to have a private webcam show and in both cases they are doing it because they want to see my naked ass! And I cant honestly say I have never had sex for money, because I have done website and magazine shoots with other girls and been paid for it. So technically I can be called a prostitute…..there I said it, I am a whore!
Which brings me on to other uses of the word prostitute. Using ones talent or ability for an unworthy cause. What exactly constitutes an unworthy cause is subjective but can it be argued that sports people are also whores? They use their ability for monetary gain and I assume that they enjoy what they do, so how does that make then any different to someone who works in the Sex Industry? In fact I would put a bet on it that probably more people working in adult entertainment are doing it more for fun than for financial gain so surely less of them are whores? The ‘putas’ in the poem brothel are observing and celebrating the fact that they are whoring their art to the masses and rightly they should. Not enough people are willing to give credit where it is due, if someone is proud of themselves or their talent, why shouldnt they use it to their advantage and share it with others? The fact that people are willing to pay for that talent shouldnt be a contributing factor when deciding whether or not to view them as a socially acceptable being. Admittedly I am sure people will argue that a lot of sex workers on the streets are not proud of themselves and are soliciting sex on street corners to feed a drug habit, in which case of course it is wrong. But I am talking more about porn actors and actresses, lapdancers, etc etc.
So, to all those people who condemn porn stars…..I admit it, I am a Whore and I am PROUD so there!
